"ArcelorMittal Kryvyi Rih" is switching production to a cold shutdown mode.

"ArcelorMittal Kryvyi Rih" has begun preparations for a cold shutdown of production. The company will safely halt production processes over a period of two months, followed by the conservation of assets. The reason cited is the consequences of four rocket attacks, in which six workers died and over 18 were injured; primary metallurgical production has already been stopped.

"ArcelorMittal Kryvyi Rih" is starting to transition the company into a mode of cold production shutdown. This is according to a statement from the company.

Over the next two months, the company plans to prepare for a safe cessation of production processes and to carry out a shutdown. Subsequently, the enterprise will preserve its industrial assets – this is necessary to maintain production capacity and to enable future resumption of operations after the end of hostilities.

According to the company, this decision was reached as a result of the consequences of four devastating rocket attacks: six employees were killed, and over 18 people were injured, and the initial metallurgical production was halted.
