Dnipro: "Teploenergo" is completing preparations for the heating season, with readiness at 93%.
The "Teploenergo" municipal enterprise in Dnipro is preparing the heating infrastructure for the 2026–2027 heating season. 277 generators have already been installed at the facilities of the enterprise, over 7 km of emergency heating networks have been replaced, and 25 km of thermal insulation has been restored; the overall readiness is estimated at 93%.
In Dnipro, preparations for the 2026-2027 heating season are ongoing. The municipal enterprise "Teploenergo" is repairing heating networks and boiler houses, as well as strengthening facilities with backup power sources.
A generator has been installed at one of the company's facilities. This boiler provides heat to three residential buildings, and the backup power source is intended to keep essential equipment running during prolonged power outages or emergencies. A resident of one of the buildings, Anna, stated that they had been waiting for the generator to be installed for a long time: according to her, the company had promised to do so during the period between heating seasons, and they had kept their promise.
"A total of 277 generators have already been installed at the company's facilities. We expect to receive materials for 11 more facilities, and over 60 are currently in operation," said the city's representative and director of the "Teploenergo" municipal enterprise, Andrei Klymenko. According to him, the generator equipment allows to maintain operational mode during power outages and reduces the risk of accidents.
At the same time, the city is repairing its heating networks. On one of the sections, major repairs are being carried out on the overhead heating pipeline that supplies heat to a medical facility and a kindergarten: approximately 150 meters of the heating pipeline have been replaced, and the next stage will be thermal insulation. "After the season ends, this section will not undergo hydraulic tests, so we decided to replace it. After the repairs, we carried out repeat hydraulic tests. Thermal insulation remains to be done, after which the section will be fully ready for winter," said Dmitry Gryzov, senior master of the heating department.
According to Andriy Klymenko, as of today, КП "Teploenergo" has replaced over 7 km of damaged heating networks, completed repairs on all planned boilers, while unplanned repairs are still ongoing. 25 km of pipeline thermal insulation has been restored, and 44 energy-efficient pumps have been installed. The company's overall readiness for the heating season is 93%, and all planned work must be completed before the start of the season.
