The city hall stated that the waste in Dnipro is being cleaned by private companies on a contract basis, but their contracts have recently expired. As a result, it is currently impossible to clean the underground containers, bins on poles, main streets, some parks, and central streets. At the same time, solid household waste is being removed from the residential sector, which is owned by the city.
The city council announced that private companies will resume contracts and begin cleaning services starting on October 13.
