Throughout the day, on October 9, Russian forces attacked the Dnipropetrovsk region almost 40 times using drones, artillery, and rockets. The cities of Kryvyi Rih, Nikopol, and Synelnykove were targeted, according to the head of the regional military administration, Oleksandr Hanza.
The most severe consequences were recorded in the Synelnykove district, where one person died. The Zayivs'ka and Petropavlivs'ka communities were also affected: an agricultural enterprise and infrastructure objects were damaged, and fires broke out.
In the Nikopol region, the cities of Nikopol and five towns – Pokrovsk, Marganets, Myriv, Mozolev, and Chervonogrygorivka – were under enemy fire. As a result of the shelling, residential buildings, businesses, and infrastructure facilities were damaged, and fires broke out at the sites of the strikes.
