Four psychosocial support centers have officially opened in the Dnipropetrovsk region – in Dnipro, Verkhnedniprovsk, Tsarychanka, and Lozovatka. These centers provide assistance to people who have been affected by the war.

The centers were established at the end of 2025 in the framework of the "Comprehensive Support for Children, Families and Communities Affected by the War" project. The project is funded by the European Union and implemented by the Representation of the International Fund for Solidarity in Ukraine as part of the PRO_MentalHealth psychosocial program.

In January 2026 year, the institutions received vehicles for mobile teams and financial assistance for the creation and development of facilities – a total of approximately 14 million UAH. These funds were used to repair premises and purchase furniture and equipment for physical and sports rehabilitation.

The services offered by these centers are available to veterans and veteran spouses, military personnel, their families, internally displaced persons, people with disabilities, and other residents of communities affected by the war. The services include psychological and psychiatric support, psycho-educational programs, career guidance assistance, information and legal services, as well as physical and sports rehabilitation.

The assistance is provided by multidisciplinary teams of specialists directly in centers and during visits to settlements; mobile teams also work in remote rural areas. Over the period of operation, the four centers have provided more than 20 thousand services, including more than 14 thousand events in communities across the region.
