A 47-year-old soldier from Kamianets-Podilskyi, Oleksiy Shvets, died in the war
On October 25, near Druzhkovka in the Donetsk region, senior sergeant of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, Oleksiy Shvets, died. He defended Ukraine in the first days of the full-scale invasion. The soldier was 47 years old.

Oleksiy Shvets was born on November 30, 1978, in Kamianets-Podilskyi. After completing his secondary education, he served in the military in 1996–1997. Later, he worked at PJSC "Komet-Stal".
In the first days of the full-scale Russian invasion of Ukraine, the man joined the defense of the Fatherland. The death of the soldier was reported by the mayor of Kamianets-Podilskyi.
