In Dnipropetrovsk, a member of the Territorial Defense Forces and Social Support Center was detained, suspected of extortion and receiving a bribe for release from military service.

According to the investigation, in September of this year, the official received $4,5 thousand from a military serviceman in exchange for promising to transfer him to another unit closer to home. Subsequently, he offered two brothers to obtain a fictitious "unsuitability" for military service through a military medical commission for $5,5 thousand each, in order to completely release them from military service.
