Dnipro switched to winter time: how has the time changed
October 25 Ukraine has switched to winter time: at 04:00, the clocks were turned back by one hour. In Dnipro, this means that the night has become one hour longer, and the day on October 25 will last 25 hours. After the change, Ukraine returned to standard Central European Time, UTC+2.
On Sunday, October 25 2026, Ukraine, including Dnipro, switched to winter time. At 04:00, the clocks were turned back one hour, to 03:00.
According to the current timekeeping regulations in Ukraine, established by the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine Resolution No. 509 dated May 13 1996 year, the switch to winter time takes place on the last Sunday of October. After the change, Ukraine returned to standard Eastern European Central European Time (UTC+2).
The issue of canceling the seasonal change of clocks in Ukraine remains unresolved. In July 2024 year, the Verkhovna Rada adopted draft law No. 4201, which provided for the abolition of seasonal time changes and the introduction of a single Kyiv time, UTC+2. However, the document did not come into force, so in autumn 2026 year, Ukraine again switched to winter time.
