In Dnipro, in the park named after O. Khilsky, located on Slobodzhansky Prospect, work is underway to restore the grassy area. This was reported by the Department of Parks and Recreation of the Dnipro City Council.
According to department representatives, over time, the grass loses its density as it is trampled, it turns yellow, and in some places, it disappears. To restore the neat appearance of green areas, municipal workers lay down rolled turf.
A roll-out lawn consists of natural grass with a root system, which is installed on a prepared area. Proper care is provided after installation to ensure the grass takes root properly.
The Department of Parks and Recreation stated that they are working to ensure that the city's parks and squares remain well-maintained, pleasant, and enjoyable for recreation.
