In Dnipro, law enforcement officers uncovered a scheme involving the illegal emigration of men of draft age. According to the Dnipropetrovsk Oblast Prosecutor's Office, a 31-year-old local resident promised a conscript a job at a critical infrastructure company in exchange for 15 thousand US dollars.

This involved securing exemption from mobilization and obtaining a business trip permit, which was intended to allow the man to leave Ukraine. The suspect was detained on October 17 by Ukrainian law enforcement officials under Article 208 of the Code of Procedure of the High Anti-Corruption Court of Ukraine while receiving the agreed-upon sum of money.

Under the procedural guidance of the Western District Prosecutor's Office of Dnipro, a man has been informed of suspicion of assisting in the illegal trafficking of persons across the state border of Ukraine (part 3 of article 332 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine). The court has chosen a pre-trial measure for the suspect in the form of detention with the right to post bail in the amount of 2 million UAH.

The pre-trial investigation is being conducted by investigators from the Department of Criminal Investigations of the State Bureau of Investigation in the Dnipropetrovsk region, with operational support from the Migration Police Department in the region.
