A man has been detained in Dnipro, suspected of killing a woman.
In Dnipro, a 41-year-old man was detained, suspected of killing a woman with whom he left the city in January. The suspect struck her in the head, after which he buried her body in a forest area. The suspect, who had previously been convicted of murder and robbery, attempted to avoid prosecution by enlisting in the armed forces.

According to investigators, in January, the woman left Dnipro and traveled to the Krivoy Rog district by car with an unfamiliar man. During the trip, the perpetrator struck her on the head, resulting in her death.
In an attempt to conceal the evidence of the crime, the man buried the body of the deceased in a wooded area within the Shyrokyvsky district. The police initiated a search after receiving a report from the deceased's sister.
October 14 Investigators informed the detained person about the suspicion under part 13, subsection 2, article 115 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. The prosecution stated that the suspect attempted to avoid responsibility by enlisting in the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
