A dispute arose between the two men, which escalated into a fight. The younger man struck the older man several times. When the older man fell, he grabbed a chair and struck him again.
The injured man was taken to the hospital, where he died. A criminal investigation has been opened into the case under Article 121 of Part 2 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (intentional grievous bodily harm resulting in the death of the victim). The pre-trial investigation has been completed, and the case has been referred to the court.
