A local council member will be tried in Dnipropetrovsk region for providing false information in their declaration.
In the Dnipropetrovsk region, an indictment has been submitted against a member of a local council in the Synelnykove district. According to the investigation, he did not declare five land plots with a total area of almost 40 hectares and incorrectly reported income from entrepreneurial activities. The total amount of undeclared assets exceeds 9 million hryvnias.
A member of the local council in the Synelnykove district of the Dnipropetrovsk region will be tried for submitting false information in their declaration. This was reported by the Dnipropetrovsk regional prosecutor's office.
According to the investigation, the deputy submitted an annual declaration in 2024 year, in which he did not disclose five land plots with an area of almost 40 hectares, which were under his lease. Furthermore, he incorrectly stated the income from entrepreneurial activity in the amount of almost 8 million hryvnias.
The total amount of assets and income for which violations of declaration were found is over 9 million hryvnias. A criminal case has been filed against the deputy under part 2 of article 366-2 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. The court will determine whether the deputy is guilty.
