The traitor, recruited through Telegram, planned to manufacture a homemade bomb and place it under the pipes of the workshop to cause an explosion during the working shift. In addition, he was gathering information about military facilities and Ukrainian defenders.
An FSB agent planning a terrorist attack on a chemical plant was detained in Kamianets-Podilsky, Dnipropetrovsk region. The suspect was apprehended "red-handed" in his own apartment while assembling a homemade bomb.
The traitor turned out to be a fitter at this enterprise, who was recruited by the FSB through a Telegram channel in search of "easy" money. He stole explosive material from a storage facility, with which he intended to manufacture a homemade explosive device and place it under the pipes in one of the plant's workshops.
The Russians planned to remotely activate the explosive device during the working shift in order to cause the greatest number of casualties. In addition, the suspect was gathering information about military facilities, vehicles, and the residences of Ukrainian defenders.
