In Kryvyi Rih, a rare owl was rescued after accidentally getting stuck in a mouse glue trap. This was reported by Tetyana Trush on the "Nature of Kryvyi Rih" page on Facebook.
It turned out that the bird had been chasing a mouse that was already trapped in the trap. As a result, a significant portion of its feathers became stuck, preventing it from flying. Local people first tried to rescue the bird by washing the damaged feathers with warm water and dish soap, and then continued cleaning it using a different method, following the advice of an ornithologist.
After this, the owl was transported to Odesa, where it is currently under the care of specialists. Veterinarians are doing everything possible to help the bird recover and regain its ability to fly.
