Farewell to defender Serhiy Pavlenko in the Petryk community.
The soldier was considered missing since April 2024 year. After repatriation, it was established that he died near Novo Kalynovoye in the Donetsk region; he had a wife and a son.
The Petryk community in Dnipropetrovsk region has announced a farewell ceremony for soldier Sergei Pavlenko. His death was confirmed after repatriation procedures were completed.
According to reports from the community, the defender's life was cut short on April 15 2024 at Novo Kalynovoye, in the Pokrovsky district of the Donetsk region. In April 2024, he lost contact and has since been listed as missing under special circumstances.
Serhiy's date of birth is September 25 1985. He received his education at vocational school No. 79. Later, he worked at the road construction company "Avtomagistral-Pivden," where he was a paving specialist.
Serhiy joined the Ukrainian army in May 2023 year. His unit was the 23 separate mechanized brigade, where he carried out combat missions in the east of the country.
The deceased soldier is survived by his son and wife.
